Principal's Message
Hello Mustangs families,
It is with great pride to be continuing another year at Mariemont Elementary. With such a connected and collaborative community, I know we will continue to build upon our strengths and instill a love for learning in all of our students. I welcome all new and returning families to our special space where all of our kids are all of our kids.
We all learn and grow best through connection and care, so we intentionally emphasize the significance of positively contributing to our communities through advocacy, understanding, and discovery. Our core values of belonging, connection, and teamwork will anchor us in our inclusive and equitable practices while our core values of voice, resilience, wellbeing, and innovation will provide challenging and enriching educational experiences that inspire our students in their lifelong learning journey.
This year, we are dedicated to developing opportunities and experiences rooted in our values through the partnership of school and community. Our staff is committed to fostering the social emotional health of all students through explicit instruction, professional development, and building relationships. We will also emphasize the growth and exploration of social emotional and academic learning through collaborative efforts in math and writing.
Our parent/family community brings diverse perspectives and resources that enrich our school. Your contributions, whether through volunteering, participating in PTA events and activities, or supporting classroom functions, build a strong network of engagement that strengthens our connection and care to each other. We invite you to become active participants in our school community as your partnership with us is highly valued.
Together, we create meaningful learning experiences for our students and I am immensely grateful to be spending another year as a mustang.
We are the heart of the herd!
With love,
Leah Lewandowski
